Been working for almost 5 months now. There were times when I thought of quitting this job and find another one but I just didn’t realize that while I was thinking about that, I am almost done with my 6mos probationary contract (hahaha). And since it’s December, every working person is expecting for bonuses from their companies esp the 13th month pay, and i’ve just received my first ever 13th month pay in my life (since being a student doesn’t qualify for that. Hahaha).
And as a reward to myself for being so hardworking for the past 5mos, I bought myself something which would remind me everyday of my first job. Tada! It’s Baby G watch where G stands for Georgeous!
Bought it yesterday with boif and I was torn between the black and this white one but I ended up choosing the latter because it’s perfect for my all-white uniform soon (yeah, I am planning to pursue my profession maybe next year, still undecided though).
I am so happy with what I just bought for myself! This watch represents my customer’s satisfaction/dissatisfaction with my service as a Risk Management Analyst for a certain bank. Whenever I see this one I would remember the times where I was told by my customers that they love my name (Johonee Mae) and even ask for the spelling because they will try to Google it, tells me that I speak english well even if I am not from America, that I am of big help to their credit standing, and most esp those times I was told that I am stupid/useless to them. There’s a lot of drama behind this watch, eh?
But for now, I so love this new watch I have.Although Baby G watches aren’t “in” nowadays, idc. I just thought of getting something which is NOT so common among everyone, right? And I know it’s a perfect catch. And for next year, I am looking forward for the tax return! I’m eyeing on Lomo cams anyways :)
